Everything you buy is trash… unless…

15 Oct , 2014

When I worked in the industry, I used to say "everything you buy will end up in a landfill". I had the realization one day while thinking of ways to get companies to want to recycle. That day, I went into a large retail store, looking for a sweater. Having just come back from a trip to the landfill that served the city, I looked around the store with a new perspective. Support recycled fishing nets for cleaner oceans

28 Apr , 2014

Abandoned fishing nets are hazardous to marine life, killing nearly 1,000 marine mammals per day. The Minnow and other skateboards partially solve that problem by using material collected via the "Net Positiva" fishing net collection and recycling program in Chile--the first of it's kind. The skateboards are a beautiful result of experiments with a non-traditional supply chain.
